Dhoom 3 will be Aamir’s best: Abhishek

John Abraham did it and so did Hrithik Roshan. Now, actor Aamir Khan gets ready to play the antagonist in the much-awaited action film, Dhoom 3. The lead actor of the franchise, Abhishek Bachchan, feels Dhoom 3 will be Aamir’s best performance till date.

“I have huge expectations from Dhoom 3. It has become a really big franchise. I’m specially excited because Aamir joins the series as the lead antagonist. His joining the cast completely raises the level of the franchise as he brings forth a high sense of professionalism and perfection,” Abhishek says, adding, “I have grown up watching and admiring Aamir’s performances, I’m looking forward to act with him. I have had a word with Aamir, and he's really excited about Dhoom 3. I feel that he will give his career-best performance in the film.”

His co-star in the film, Uday Chopra, recently announced retirement from acting after Dhoom 3 hits screens. Abhishek, though, is not buying it: “Uday says that every time after doing a Dhoom film, I can’t imagine a Dhoom film without Uday’s character. He might be a top shot Hollywood producer now, but I think he will come back for future Dhoom films. The characters of Jai Dixit (Abhishek’s character) and Ali (Uday’s character) are pertinent to the franchise.”

Next in line for Abhishek is Bol Bachchan, a remake of the original hit, Golmaal. “Bol Bachchan is not a remake of the original Golmaal, but an adaptation. The treatment of the film is very different. Ajay Devgn plays the role of the boss (Utpal Dutt’s role) in the film,” says the actor, who will next be seen in Players that hits the screens on January 6.
